In your TED talk you said some things about the necessity of intelligent systems being alive and having bodies for consciousness. And that struck me as counterintuitive here because I mean, I don't imagine you're saying that there's something especially important about being made of meat in order to be conscious. You can imagine replacing individual neurons in a human brain with their functional equivalence that are not made of meat and just doing that enough. We've kind of run into a thesis's ship example here where you we replace all the parts, but they have all of the same functional characteristics - has consciousness disappeared?
