The Constitution and the House of Representatives

The House of Representatives is the final authority on who gets seated and who doesn't. So if somebody does something really, really terrible, you know, like ignoring the Constitution of the United States, the rest of the House can look at him and say, yeah, guess what? Go home. But it could be done literally at any time. And this is typically used when there's been some kind of election, colonialism. Or if there's some kind of criminal past that comes up or if a candidate does something horrific between the day he was elected and the day they were seated.
