The Museum of Modern Art: A History of Alfred Barr
Alfred Barr was the founding director of the Museum of Modern Art. He taught a course on modern painting at Wellesley in 1927 that forced students to engage with contemporary art and culture unprecedented within the field of art history in 1927. I felt like here is a story that is that even those who know Alfred Barr don't know this story so I try to prove that he was truly expansive in both his imagination and teaching as I think as I are today.
