What Do You Seek?
In John chapter four, verse 27, we continue the narrative of jesus conversation with the samaritan woman. Jesus seems to be contravening some of the conventions that would typically have governed relations between jews and samaritans. Besides going against certain jewish principles of ritual purity, it likely also violated certain cultural bounds of propriety.
