The Importance of Spiritual Tools in Decision Making

When we're confronted with questions of conscience, in a way we're standing before God, right? We need to make wider use of the spiritual tools at our disposal as well as the intellectual tools. In some of my tradition growing up, it would have been the opposite assumption that the intellect isn't that useful in making some of these decisions.
