Cedric Price and John Lola Wood's gent brick is a kind of performative equivalent to the pompadou. The bricks are made from waste-free materials that are sourced hyper locally within the city, rather than virgin materials such as silica or clay which you tear out of the earth and then bake with russian gas. "The idea of modes of production that continually invent and reinvent themselves is I guess sort of pricey," says Cedric Price.
