How Do You Think About Associations Corporations?
The project is to find ways in which digital platforms can be owned and governed by their members. The vision is really for a series of organizations which are themselves internally democratic. We want a Twitter, for example, in which members have a say in new services that are operated in who's on the board or what kind of value can be derived from it. This involved a kind of de centering of the role of the state, and elevating the role of these series of intermediary institutions.
