How to Motivate People to Learn
When you teach something to someone, they'll come away with a higher level of confidence that they know that thing than actually they've warranted. This is one of the reasons why you should encourage people to do problems rather than read notes. Or they can... if they want to do something note-like, then they can do something like try and teach somebody else or rewrite the notes from memory. That's better than looking at the information again because every time ... basically it's a difficulty thing.
