California banned the sale of new petrol-powered cars from 2030. Prop 30 is a ballot initiative that Californian voters are going to consider on November 8th. It raises about three and a half to five billion dollars in taxes by raising the tax rate on higher-nurs. The state's Democratic Party and a couple of mayors have endorsed the ballot initiative.
