The Importance of Desalination in America

Texas had this summer of clean energy. I always think of Texas as one of the most fucked up states. Like, it's very, very cheap to produce renewable power there. Even a Republican politician might have a cultural or a stated cultural opposition to those forms of power generation. They are not going to sit there and say, I would really like my constituents to pay more on their energy bills.
