Collingwood's Sam Moston has been a controversial figure in AFL history. The former Collingwood player was sacked by the club earlier this year for sexist comments he made during an interview with Sportsmail. 'I grew up with my parents saying that you publicly complement and privately criticise as a sort of a good general rule on ways to interact, but to be able to acknowledge things that need to change or that are wrong' says Essendon star. He adds: 'Sometimes you do need to say it in a more public environment to set the tone.'
