The Rise of Capitalism in the Industrial Age

In late feudalism, the forces of production began to change. The old gild system came under pressure from larger scale investments based off of pool capital. Production now is not just for use, but for sale in a consumer economy. And that sale is meant to create a monetary profit for the capitalist investor. So this brings us basically to the beginning of the revolutions podcast. Because in the historical materialist conception, the english revolution and the french revolution are both major bourgeois revolutions.
