I was a movie that i was like, o k, i gave myself permission to make a movie that was not going to be accessible or commercial. It's hard to make a compelling narrative with with really passive, aggressive or just passive, you know, closed off people. I do it an upside down way where i'm sort of developing the script alongside the development of the characters. And every relationshit that you rellanagip with the actors, you give ii. But it's really important for me to have them have these really, a really clear sense of who they are so that when you know, the chemistry between them is palpable....
