The Art Emperor Attends a State Powerball

The Emperor is in town and will be attending the annual Powerball. The Powerball is a thoroughly immoral yet legal ball held once a year where Cordelia's rich and powerful consume a child to gain its strength and vitality. But 50 years ago, a clever mage discovered that it actually doesn't work. Why did they do it? Because tradition is tradition, and according to them, some traditions are too important to ignore. And so, every year unabated, they continue the Powerball, where they consume a child. Well, this is bigger than the Emperor. We've got to shut down the Powerball too. I think there's something worth saving to that man.
