The Psychology of Group Behavior During a COVID Pandemic
Dr. Reicher is a fellow of the British Academy and the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He's studied psychology of group behavior for decades, especially during pandemics. His research shows that when people behave in groups under stress they tend not to be at their best. People develop a sense of shared identity after disasters: "We're in this together," he says.
