The Rise of the NASDAQ
The S&P 500 was up about 7%. The tech stocks were strong enough that it outbid the damage done by the financials. And I think that is what is responsible for the big rise in the NASDAQ. But if you look at, let's say, the Russell 2000, which doesn't have nearly as much tech as the S&P or the NASDAQ, obviously, that index was only up 2.3%.
