There's eight cards Is how many tricks you need to win to conquer that? That's fiefdom. And then you randomly take a whole bunch of character cards. So this is what makes the game interesting. Each of these allies has some sort of awesome rule breaking power like draw eight new cards or ditch a whole suit or Switch the ruler of the fiefdom you're playing with.
