The Oddness of Cosmological Constants

I think that people overemphasize the weirdness and mystery of cosmological thoughts. Like if it's there, it just makes perfect sense. And perfectly, it's not some ineffable mystery. Why it has the value it does is a mystery, but it's nature is not. I feel like I go with the cosmological constant as the default assumption. Until I see some kind of evidence for anything else, I'll just stick with that.
