Webjpe is a huge effort. It spanned so many people and so many organizations. Dmitri malishaw, formerly omosilla, had such huge influence on the api. He just has provided so much insight into how to design things well. There are other standards contributors from apple to miles. The artent team at google has done a sing job pushing forward the implementation.
