This fall, prisoners across Alabama organized a general strike of incarcerated workers. This historic strike comes on the heels of many other prisoner-led strike actions in 2010, 2016, and 2018. In my final thoughts, instead of putting our hopes in a call for a general strike going viral, as the same goes, we have to walk before we can run.
