Vernon's Story

As a young man, vernon had a born again experience in a southern baptist church. But he then returned to the church of his mother, which was seventh day adventist. In 19 81, three years after benjamin roden's death, vernan jo n the branch devidians and moved to the mount carmel commune outside wako. He also started to gather new followers from california, england, australia and israel. Vernon himself went to israel where he had a vision telling him that he was a modern day cyrus - god's anointed one.
