How to Assess Your Gifting

Every human being has blind spots. Andy can get some way toward rightly assessing his own gifting, but I don't think he can sufficiently do it. So no, you need someone external from yourself to tell you whether you really are gifted for a certain word. That's you gifting is a matter of the church telling you whether you're gifting and opportunity is really a matter of God's providence opening up doors for you.
