Dental, Is It Covered by Medicare?
Greens have launched a campaign to make dental care free for all. The party has been banging on about the issue for years, but it's only just now being taken up. They say that medica doesn't see teeth as part of the body and should be treated like any other disease or condition. But they also claim mental health treatment is rationed in public hospitals. So why isn't this covered by medicare? And how do we get rid of these 'cost barriers' which prevent people from seeking help? We're here to talk you through some of the key issues at hand.
