Naspers has such a big stake in Tencent, they're the largest shareholder. Wallersein went to Shenzhen out of all places when for ex-fats, hanging in Beijing and Shanghai was already considered out there. He noticed how all these people were using QQ at the time to communicate with each other. So he thought this was going to be a huge thing.
