Permissions and the Context of Security Mechanisms
Commissions are tricky because I devoted a whole chapter to them. At some level, they expect pretty much how you'd think that if you want to do something that requires any elevated permission, you request the corresponding permission. So for example, like there's an alarms API. Some of which will trigger a warning message and some of which will not. If you're trying to avoid things like that, optional permissions are your friend.
