Introduction

The FDC has confirmed it's suing to try and stop Microsoft from buying Activision for $60 or $70 million. It's also in court over its attempt to stop Meta from buying within, which I think we've talked about before. The EU and the UK are already investigating the Activision deal. Meanwhile, the FDC also has a case trying to unwind the acquisition of Instagram and WhatsApp almost a decade ago,. And so there's a bunch of interesting threads to pull on here.
