Authentication - What Is It?

Authority is a mixture of who you are, but also what it is you're tring to get access to. It's both things you're allowed to do, positive cases, but also things you're not allowed to do. Authorisation and authenication resides entirely in the hands of the identity teams. So why is it so hard to crack that nut? Why is it so much easier relatively easier to do, sam olen and all th identity protocols instead of authorization.
