The Basics of Propeller Propulsion

Exhaust velocity is a critical term to rocketry in spaceship propulsion and represents the speed at which particles are propellant are being exhausted. A fuel with twice the exhaust velocity lets the ship travel twice as fast or the same speed but on far less fuel. Field propulsion refers to any type of spacecraft whose momentum is exchanged by interaction with external force fields. EM See also Clark Tech, Quantum Vacuum Thruster, Reactionless Drive.
