The Greatest Gifts of Music Education

i've always wondered about the commonality between writers who seem to have very poetic voices and former musicians. And i wonder how your training as a musician influences the wayt you think about writing. I was really fortunate to grow up in texas where music education was mandatory, and at least for a certain period. It's fundamental in creating neural connections in our brain to our mind. If we are not taught how to do that, then we are in big trouble. So creativity in itself, it is not just the art form, is a way of thinking and living and being.
