I've always called it just being a chameleon, like you can put me anywhere and i can figure out, for better or worse, what does this other group need that i can give to create the bond or the output or the result. I feel like that's how i got through a lot of school. And i think it's helped at the cost of sometimes just saying, who am i in reality, and just be that person and let them decide the outcome. You can be a little bit clueless if you don't ye self monitor enough.

Richard Nisbett is one of the world's most respected psychologists. His work focuses on issues in social psychology and cognitive science. Richard is also the Theodore M. Newcomb Distinguished University Professor of Psychology Emeritus at the University of Michigan.
