How to Write a Poop Humour Book

I didn't want to write a poop humour book. Other people have written poop humour books. I thought there was a lot of serious stuff going on in the world about sanitation. But who wants to read a book about feces that's dry and academic? So I had to find a way of talking about these huge issues which are pretty terrible - children still dying from diarrhea. It is eminently preventable, easily preventable. And yet they're still dying of it. Why do you think this extraordinary public health intervention just hasn't been invested in communities across the world?
