The Watchman Flex in Patients With Non-Valvular Atrial Fibrillation
The pinnacle study was designed to establish the safety and effectiveness of the watchman flex in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. Four hundred patients at 29 US sites were enrolled period, the enrollment was fairly rapid period. The implant was successful in almost 99% of the cases. On the average 1.2 devices were required per case which is lower than the prior older generation watchman device.
