The Cost of Nuclear in France
France's Court of Account says that the EPR project has seen a considerable downward spiral and is asking for a holistic cost benefit analysis. But EDF scattering back says the EPR2s won't encounter the same problems. Constructing them will be much more straightforward, well for example use single nuclear vessels and not double once. The plant's buildings will have a simpler design and many elements will be prefabricated and standardized.
