What Have We Learned From the Pandemic?

The Human Freedom Index goes back to the year 2000, which of course is the pandemic year. And what emerges is a picture that looks something like this: Global freedom on an increase until 2007 and then begins to slowly descend. 94% of the world's population, we calculate lost freedom in the year 2020. That's after nearly 80% had been losing freedom in the past several years.
