The Virtues of the Soul

The parts of the soul each have their own distinct excellence. Each aspect, each part of the soul is going to need specific virtues to kind of cultivate it or to refine it. So there's at least two elements, you're capable of housing at least two desires at once. We all know this, we can talk to ourselves, right, I want to do this, but I shouldn't, hey, don't do that? And in modern psychology, my beloved St. Did mother, the best member of our family, but the one that's least in the public eye, has been talking with me about some of this as I kind of puzzle over platonic psychology.
