Atari's Home Console Business in the Mid-1970s
T-Pong was successful, or at least successful enough that I can't find complaints from any Atari employees. In early 1976, Coleco released the Telestar, yet another tennis emulator. After spending so much on R&D costs, they got swooped by more established semiconductor companies. It's okay to spend millions of dollars developing a product if that product can bring in millions of dollars in revenue.
