The Importance of Omega-3s in a Plant-Based Diet
Omega-3 fatty acids, specifically the plant source of omega-3s is ALA or alpha linolenic acid. Ground flax seed, walnuts, chia seeds, hemp seeds, soy products are good sources for that. There's a lot more foods that are labeled plant-based, but they might not necessarily fit the profile of what I'm thinking when I'm thinking plant-based. So we want to be careful with that.
