Isn't It a Teleological End for Man?

Schopenhauer rejected the world morally. He ultimately held a profoundly pessimistic attitude towards life. Man has a teleological end in schopenhauer's work, as the being that can fully perceive the suffering of the world and thus is capable of turning the will against itself to gain self advantage. In short, we perceive that the potential exists within makind and become something that is not purely the blind willing impulses.
