The Labor Struggle or the Labor Movement?
Belafonte was trying to orient himself, I think, in time and in a kind of activist space. He began talking about what he saw as the failures of organizations that were led by his contemporaries. We have no peace movement. And we certainly don't have the political leadership. There is no voice that stands strong in leading somebody's response.
