How Long Did It Take You to Go From Newb to Consistently Profitable?

How long did it take you to go from newb to consistently profitable? I would say two years before i was comfortable with being profitable on a week to week basis. My favorite entry set up is trading flushes in in the morning, which is a day ing strategybut basically, if you see a stock or an index have a nice run up pre market, that is usually institutional investors pumping that up because retail traders don't trade pre market.
