When YouTube Red becomes available in the UK, which it currently isn't. I would pay $10 a month just to get rid of unskippable pre roll ads in front of videos. The main reason is I would just like to be able to have videos play on my iPad and on my iPhone immediately. So I will probably sign up for this when it is available from the consumer perspective.
