The Word Prefixes

Uncooked is an example of the vocabulary area we're looking at today. Or as some people say, prefixes. A prefix is a small part of a word that we put at the front of a base word to change its meaning. For example, the prefix un, spelt un, is added to happy to make unhappy, which means not happy. And poor Dave couldn't tolerate the meal.
