Irrational Exuberance: A Professor of Real Estate and Finance

I first encountered your name last year when I was reading the third edition of Robert Schiller's best-seller, Irrational Exuberance. But before we begin, I'm fairly sure most of our audience won't have heard of you before. So can you please introduce yourself to us? If you're at a cocktail party and someone asks, what do you do? Well, I'm a professor of real estate and finance. And are you from Amsterdam originally? Yeah, I'm from, well, not Amsterdam itself, we've sort of an outskirts of Amsterdam. Then I moved to Austria about 30 years ago to do my PhD here and then just stayed on.
