He dropped out of college before receiving a degree and used his last name as a pseudonym in college to secretly work on the student humor magazine dartmouth jacko lantern. A single book by this author might easily be read a hundred times by a hundred different children. You could perform an experiment by trying to see how far you can read into a doctor sous book before you know that he's the author. But the truth is, you'll likely know even before you've read a word. The pictures on the cover will give it away.
