Grid Operators Are Having a Hard Time With Renewables
We are definitely seeing markets where there is significant reneals penetration, having problems with aplocation of resources and servicing load because the original grid was not architected for this level of intermittency. The more intermittency you inject into a system, rite the more difficult it is to have predict able matching of supply and demand. We will only see the full picture of that puzzle as we get further along the shift towards renewables,. but we do have early signals that are emerging in various grids that have got to 20, 30, forty % renewable power.
