Stripe is an API first company, but the key insight is that developers actually don't care that much about your API. They care a lot more about your SDKs and the native kind of experience you were providing in the programming languages they're using. So really think about those pieces as like an intentional product with a strategy and where you want to invest. That's probably the most tangible thing developers will get from you as a company because the API is just transport.
