Tawanda Noveo wrote The History of Man when she was in the USA. Her inspiration for Emil Kuzir came from real-life colonial rulers like Cecil Rhodes. Sipiwa Gloria and Lovo, one of her favorite novelists, gave Tawanda a tour of Boulaoyo. There's still a statue of Rhodes hidden in the overgrown gardens of the Boulayo Museum.
