There's just a bottomless pit of new potentially addictive technologies. Facebook plays with the color of the like button in order to get it just right and so users are more inclined to use it. There's no way we should expect the typical 11 year old kid plugged into these devices built by people that understand the psychology of addiction to be able to use them optimally. How do you limit or monitor how your kids use social media? We've got we're an iPad household which means you can use screen time to lock things down. The one thing I don't do very well and Gwyneth and I both struggle with our own use of technology.
