The Transfiguration of the Old Testament

Elijah is whom God has selected to represent the prophets. In a lot of ways, because of what we see at the transfiguration, you could, you can, I think safely say that Elijah is the premier prophet. There's John the Baptist who's a different kind of prophet and he comes in the spirit of Elijah but there's a reason he doesn't come in thespirit of Moses or Jeremiah or Isaiah. It's because Elijah in God's mind is the prophet.
