Is There a Long Term Investment?
If you had to only buy one investment for the rest of your life, what would it be? And why? I think that really, and it's an incredibly dissatisfying answer. But i think if i could only make one en a long term investment for the remainder of my life, it would probably be on themerging market equities. This represents a bet on the long term convergence of the world on productivity growth over the long cycle. It's an inevitable, long trend, and will be a very choppy path, though.
